Join us for the 2026 Derek Ride – a great weekend of riding, good company and supporting a very worthwhile cause.
About the Derek Ride
Derek is a long-standing and respected member of Holbrook Motorcycle Sports Club, known for his reliability, generosity and support of fellow riders.
In 2019, Derek was involved in a serious accident that resulted in a spinal cord injury. During his recovery, the club and wider motorcycle community rallied around Derek and his family.
The Derek Ride has continued in that same spirit of friendship and support. Each year, Derek chooses someone facing difficult circumstances for the club and riding community to get behind.
This Year We're Supporting Eliza Dennis
Eliza is a young motocross rider from Wagga Wagga who sustained a serious spinal injury in a motocross accident earlier this year.
Through the 2026 Derek Ride, we hope to continue the tradition of the motorcycle community looking after its own.
Anyone who would like to make an additional donation to support Eliza and her family can do so when booking.
Entry
Please note: The Derek Ride is for registered motorcycles only. Both registered dirt bikes and adventure bikes are welcome.

Can't make the Saturday ride? You can still purchase the Full Weekend Package and join us on Saturday evening for dinner and camping, followed by breakfast and the ride on Sunday.

Ride Times
Saturday & Sunday
Breakfast: 7.30–8.10 am
Sign-on: 8.30–9.00 am
Rider briefing: 9.15 am
Ride out: 9.30 am
The Sunday ride will return to Rosewood at approximately 1.00 pm.
Saturday Night
The Saturday evening meal, camping and one raffle ticket are included in the Full Weekend Package.
There will also be additional raffles and prizes on Saturday night.
Fuel – Please Read
NO FUEL IS AVAILABLE IN ROSEWOOD.
Please bring 10 litres of fuel in a suitable container clearly labelled with your name.
Alternatively, riders may arrange to share a 20-litre container with friends.
