Music: A Way Home — Music Wellbeing Workshop
18+ only ♡
Slow down, make some music, and spend a couple of hours being a person in a room with other people.
Music: A Way Home is a small-group music wellbeing workshop exploring how music, creativity and connection can help us pause, feel, play and reconnect.
You don't need to be musical. You don't need to know how to improvise. You definitely don't need to perform.
🎶 What to expect
We'll spend time playing, listening, moving, creating and reflecting, with activities such as:
- gentle group improvisation — with plenty of guidance
- listening to music and noticing what comes up
- creative prompts and reflection
- opportunities to move, connect and make music with others
- moments of quiet and space to slow down
Some activities will be done together, some in smaller groups or pairs, and some independently. You’ll always have the option to participate in a way that feels comfortable for you.
This isn't a music lesson, therapy session or performance. There’s no right or wrong way to do it, and you won't be asked to sing, play or share anything you're not comfortable with.
🌿 Who is it for?
Anyone who is curious about music, creativity, connection or simply wants to spend some time slowing down.
You might be a musician, someone who hasn't touched an instrument since primary school, or someone who just really likes listening to music.
No musical experience needed.
