About
– In this workshop you will learn how to layer, blend, and burnish your coloured pencils. Experience using a variety of papers for different affects. This is a slow medium, but so relaxing, with no mess to clean up after. You will be given a package of papers, brush and rubber. Please bring along your own art quality coloured pencils and a sharpener.
Materials Some materials are provided, and are included in the workshop fee. BUT you will need to bring your own artist quality pencils and pencil sharpener.
Information on materials your need to bring:
At least a 24 pack of pencils. June recommends Faber Castell Polychromos, or Prismacolour Premier (with the butterfly on the tin). Avoid cheap children’s brands as they won’t blend well. If you want to get into this medium there are lots of good brands on the market, wax or oil based (not water based). With a quality brand of pencils you will achieve the desired results! The Prisma colour pencil sharpener is June’s preferred sharpener.
Additional Info. - Morning tea provided – bring your own lunch – food outlets close by.
