AMS Piano Eisteddfod 2026

A wonderful opportunity to perform. Receive written feedback from our adjudicator. Refine your performance skills and enjoy the performances of others.  

Please note that sections WILL BOOK OUT before the closing date of Thursday 17 September - please enter ASAP to avoid disappointment! 

 

When completing your booking, select your section according to your child's CURRENT AMS BOOK, please do this CAREFULLY to ensure you are booking into the correct section.

Performance Requirements

 

Junior & Super Starter: 

Students perform two pieces from the AMS books. 

Students are not required to bring the music to hand in to the adjudicator. 

Reports and the awarding of 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be given at the conclusion of the section.

 

Junior Plus & Extension

Students perform two pieces from the AMS books OR from their AMS Private lesson.

Performers must bring a copy of the music to hand in to the adjudicator for any piece of music that is NOT from an AMS book with their name on it.

If the performance is not from memory, an additional copy should be brought for the performers use.

Reports and the awarding of 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be given at the conclusion of the section.

 

   Spectrum & Advanced

  Two own choice pieces are required.

Performance pieces from Private lessons.

Performers MUST bring a copy of the music to hand in to the adjudicator with their name on it.

If the performance is not from memory, an additional copy should be brought for the performers use.

Reports and the awarding of 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be given at the conclusion of the section.

 

DUETS

ONE piece is required.

The piece must be scored for Piano Duet (not taken from an ensemble, piano solo etc).

Performers must bring a copy of the music to hand in to the adjudicator for any piece of music that is NOT from an AMS book. If the performance is not from memory, an additional copy should be brought for the performers use.

This is an OPEN AGE section - Family and/or AMS child combos are welcome.
