Get moving these school holidays with a 2-hour interactive dance and movement workshop designed to challenge young people, build confidence and, most importantly, have fun!
This workshop is open to ALL levels β no previous dance experience is required. Whether you're completely new to dance or already love performing, you'll be encouraged to participate at your own pace and step outside your comfort zone.
What will the workshop include?
Participants will experience a combination of:
Dance choreography
Hip-Hop foundations
Fitness and movement
Agility and coordination activities
Interactive group challenges
Teamwork and creative activities
The workshop is designed to support young people in developing confidence, physical fitness, coordination, teamwork and self-expression while giving them something active and engaging to do during the school holidays.
It's also a great opportunity to spend a couple of hours moving, connecting with others and taking a natural break from screens and technology.
Parents are welcome too!
The workshop is primarily designed for children and young people, but if you're a parent who would love to get involved alongside your child, you're absolutely welcome to join us! Just make sure everyone participating is registered.
What to Bring & Wear
π Footwear: Please wear indoor sports shoes or comfortable runners suitable for dancing and physical activity.
π Clothing: Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.
π§ Water: Please bring your own water bottle.
π For Young People: Please ensure you have a parent, guardian or responsible adult available to safely drop you off and pick you up from the workshop.
Most importantly, come ready to move, learn, have fun and challenge yourself!
Photography & Video Consent πΈ
Photos and video content may be captured during the workshop. If you are comfortable with yourself or your child appearing in this content, please complete the media consent section/form during registration.
Sharing moments from our workshops helps us grow this youth development initiative, reach more young people and families, and hopefully create more opportunities to run programs like this regularly in the community.
Come ready to move, learn, connect and challenge yourself!
All levels welcome. No dance experience necessary.
