8 Week After-School Engineering Program
Note: Only students attending this school can register.
Day: Every Wednesday from 7 October to 25 November
Time: 3:15pm to 4:30pm (75 minutes)
Location: Grace Lutheran Primary School (Christian Studies room)
Cost: $240 for 8 sessions ($30 per session)
Suitable for: Year 1 to Year 6
Cost includes use of all LEGO® kits, materials and equipment.
Introducing Young Engineers, an incredible program that sparks the minds of primary school children and takes them on an extraordinary journey into the world of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
What do we do?
In our weekly sessions, students become young inventors as they build motorised LEGO® models. These models are not just ordinary toys; they are working prototypes of real world machines. Through this process, our curious learners get to explore scientific concepts while bringing their creations to life.
Each week brings a new engineering challenge, covering gears, pulleys, levers, motors and energy transfer. All equipment is provided and no prior experience is needed.
