Ella’s Australian Scout Award Expedition

Date: Wednesday 30th September – Sunday 3rd October 2026

• Drive to Tidal River – Wednesday, 30 September
   o Camp - 31st Ave, at Campsite 315 & 316 - Wednesday, 30 September
      We will drive to Telegraph Saddle to commence the hike
   o Camp - Southern Section - Halfway Hut Hike-in Camping Area - Thursday, 1 October
      The walking distance from Telegraph Saddle Carpark to Halfway Hut via the Telegraph Track is approximately 7.4 kilometres.
   o Camp - Southern Section - Oberon Bay Hike-in Camping Area - Friday, 2 October
      The hiking distance from Halfway Hut to Oberon Bay via the Telegraph Track junction is approximately 5.2 kilometres (about 1.5 hours of walking).
   o Hike out to Tidal River – Saturday 3 October
      The hiking distance between Tidal River and Oberon Bay is approximately 8 to 8.5 kilometres
      One adult shall catch the bus from tidal river to collect the car
• Return to the hall – Saturday 3 October

Skill level: Some camping experience is recommended.
