We provide notice that The Geelong Club Annual General Meeting will be held on Friday, 9 October 2026, commencing at 6.00pm on the Club’s premises.
In accordance with the Club Rules, a quorum of 20 Voting Members is required. .
The Club Bars will be open and the Club by Felix dining room will be open should you wish to dine following the meeting.
2026 Geelong Club Management Committee Election Information
The Club Rules state that the Committee comprises 12 members:
President
Vice President
Treasurer
Secretary
Past President (ex‑officio)
Seven ordinary Committee Members
At each Annual General Meeting, three Committee Members retire but are eligible for re‑election.
Retiring or Retired from Committee: Malcolm Condie, Andrew Howarth, Helen Butteriss.
Retiring from Committee Roles: Retiring from President Glenn King, Retiring from Treasurer Helen Butteriss, Retiring from Secretary Tony Francis.
Continuing Committee Members: Glenn King, Tony Francis, Sean Blood, Robert Meredith, James Scuderi, Joshua Jervies, Freya Fidge
Nominations for the officers of the Club are open and there will be four vacancies for Committee positions for 2026–2027.

12 September 2026 – New Committee/Officer nominations and any Special Business motions must be submitted to the Secretary (28 days before the AGM).
19 September 2026 – Notices and nominations sent to Members, including any Special Business motions (21 days before the AGM).
2 October 2026 – Proxies must be submitted to the Secretary (7 days before the AGM).
9 October 2026 – Annual General Meeting at the Club, 6.00pm.
