Come along to the Community Gardens Old Cheese Factory for a relaxed, practical workshop and learn how to successfully sow seeds and raise healthy seedlings.

Both sessions will cover the same workshop, so simply choose the day that suits you best.
🌿 This is a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn about:
• Preparing seed-raising mix
• How to sow seeds correctly
• When and how to direct sow
• Seed preparation, depth, moisture and warmth
• Checking older seeds for viability
• Prevention and correction of leggy seedlings
• Caring for seedlings after germination
• When seedlings are ready to pot up or plant out
