'No Other Land' Film Screening – Students for Palestine UTS

Students for Palestine UTS and the Film Appreciation Posse are hosting a joint screening of the Oscar-winning documentary 'No Other Land' by Palestinian-Israeli activist collective: Basel Adra, Hamdan Ballal, Yuval Abraham, and Rachel Szor.

The documentary collates five years of raw first-hand footage (2019–2023) of residents from Masafer Yatta, a small Palestinian community in the occupied West Bank, as they resist forced displacement and the destruction of their villages by the IDF after Israel declared their land a 'firing zone'. The film depicts both the brutal reality of Israeli occupation and the inspiring bravery and defiance of Palestinian people in spite of it.

There will be FREE FOOD! It's a potluck, so bring some snacks along to share if you can. Everyone is welcome, even if you're not a UTS student.
