Mala Making Workshop

Location
Private residence Claude Road, Claude Road, TAS, 7306
About
Join us for a profound day of learning about malas and creating your very own to take home.
The malas we will be making are of the design parameters from Northern parts of India in the Saraswati tradition.
Swami Samnyasanand (Neurophysiologist) is a renowned and highly experienced yogic musician, who has made many malas in his life. He has worked with and for many incredible yogic scientists, yoga schools, Universities, and yoga lineage innovators, and has spoken and chanted at many conferences, ashrams, temples and retreats in Australia and around the world, over the course of his lifetime.
Together with Meredith Rose (Kundalini/Hatha Yoga Teacher, Sound Healing Facilitator & mantra musician), he is bringing this wisdom, along with multiple opportunities to dive deep into some profound practices of sacred sound.
Following the workshop and lunch, we will dive into some Japa Japa meditation (repetitive recitation of sacred mantra) for which you can practice using your mala, and some heart-opening Kirtan (call and response of mantras in song).
And finally, be immersed in a 60minute Sound Healing Journey facilitated by Meredith Rose.
Hot drinks, snacks, and a nourishing and delicious vegetarian lunch are included.
Props for the sound bath also included, but please bring a cushion to sit on for the chanting/Kirtan, and an extra blanket and a pillow if you would like.
Refund policy in T&Cs
