COAFC Basin Invitational 2026

VENUE:

St Georges Basin and Sussex Inlet

When:       6am Friday 13th to 3pm Saturday 14th November 2025

 Boundary for fishing: The estuary event is contained to the Inlet and Basin proper and its creeks.

Presentation Gathering on Saturday night at Cooee Hotel St Georges Basin at 6.30pm till late

Cost:          $20 each to cover  Entry Prizes (and some give aways)

Who:          Invites are extended to those who entered in the COAFC March 2026 and 2025 Basin events

                   OR by invitation of the Committee OR Cooee Publican

 

Rules:    Event is a Catch, Photo and Release event. Entry for largest fish will be by photo evidence ONLY.

                  A token will be indictaed by SMS from one of the organisers before 6am on Friday. Photo of fish on

                 Measuring Mat with Token must be present.

Best Fish Entries:   Either attend Cooee Hotel between 5pm and 6Pm for submission of form and picture 

Note: Picture for verification will be requested as required

 

Presentation and Dinner: Presentation will commence apprx 6.30pm. Dinner is your own responsibility and not included in the entry fee

Prizes:     For Longest Estuary Flathead, Bream, Whiting, Tailor, Jewfish and Snapper + MIXED Bag awards for both Basin (5 species) 

Sponsors:     We are not asking for sponsors, BUT if companies wish to help provide prizes that would be greatly appreciated.

                                Things like hats, knives, t-shirts anything promoting your compamy or organisation

 please acknowledge that the COAFC is purely a social event. The safety and well being is the responsibility of each individual.
