Daryl “Daz” Roberts brings groove-injected retro blues and roots in spades. A multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter, Daz has performed with blues legend Jimmy Witherspoon and Australian rock icons Spectrum, and fronts his own funk-infused outfit, Hey Gringo.
Hey Gringo’s latest album, ADIOS AMIGO, just reached #1 on the Australian Blues & Roots Charts. It’s a “bucket full of fun”, packed with brash, brassy rhythms and feel-good tunes.
Expect swampy New Orleans R&B, rootsy blues, Latin funk and gritty Aussie pub soul when Daryl fronts the band at Kitchen Blues.
