The English Baroque: Music of Court and Theatre
We are delighted to announce our next intimate soirée as we explore the distinctive and beautiful world of English Baroque music.
Bookings essential.
Our programme takes us through almost 80 years of music, from the England of Henry Purcell, through the London of George Frideric Handel, to William Boyce. Featuring music written for the theatre, concert hall and court, the evening explores the elegance, drama, energy and expressive beauty of the English Baroque.
Cost: Donation - we suggest $15 per ticket. It costs a lot to put on a performance like this, which is why we suggest a donation – this helps us keep the group running!

About Baroque Locals
Baroque Locals brings together people from a wide range of various professions who share a love of Baroque music. Some members have formal musical training, while others have studied privately and play for the joy of it. What unites us all is a shared enthusiasm for historically informed performance and bringing this wonderful music to life.
Cancellation
As seating is limited, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to attend so we can offer the seat to someone else. Donations made through this site will be refunded with at least 24 hours’ notice. Thank you for your understanding.
