ā° Audition Schedule
āØ Senior Scholars
Grade 6 to Advanced (including DS1 and DS2)
Registration: 10.15 am
Class: 11.00 am to 12.30 pm
āØ Junior Scholars
Grades 4 to 6
Registration: 12.15 pm
Class: 1.00 pm to 2.30 pm
š³ Audition Fee: $50.00 per entrant (Junior and Senior)
ā Who Can Audition?
All entrants must hold a Cecchetti certificate and be working with a Registered Cecchetti teacher.
Junior Scholars
12 years or under on 1 January 2027
Register for the class of the last exam taken in 2026
Senior Scholars
15 years or under on 1 January 2027
Register for the last exam taken in 2026, including Grade 6, DS1 or DS2, Intermediate, or Advanced 1 or 2
Please note: Students taking two years to complete Intermediate may register with their 2025 Grade 6 certificate.
Current Scholars can audition again for the following year without taking an exam, as long as they still meet the age requirement.
š©° What to Wear
Cecchetti examination uniform
Small stud earrings only
Light make-up may be worn by Senior Scholars auditionees only
š± Phones: Mobile phones will not be permitted past registration, so please leave them with a responsible adult.
š If Your Dancer Is Successful
If your dancer is offered a place, you will be asked to provide proof of age and proof of the relevant examination level when submitting your 2027 Acceptance Form.

Cecchetti Ballet Australia (Victoria) is committed to a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for all children and young people. This event follows our Child Safety policies and procedures. All staff and volunteers comply with the Child Safe Standards and hold the right clearances.
šø Photography and Media
We may photograph participants for promotional purposes. If you'd prefer your child not to be photographed, please let the event supervisor know on the day.
