About
Rise Up is a special day designed to help you step out of your comfort zone, challenge yourself physically and reflect on what it means to grow from a boy into a man. Throughout the day, we’ll hike through the Blue Mountains, stop at different locations, and have honest conversations about topics that matter as you prepare for adulthood—including identity, relationships, career, money, courage, perseverance, faith, responsibility and following Christ.
The day will include stories and wisdom from male teachers and mentors, Scripture, group discussions, personal reflection and physical challenges. It is an opportunity to slow down, spend time in nature, ask meaningful questions and think about the type of man you want to become and the life you want to live.
What you need to know:
Who: Year 9–12 boys
Where: Blue Mountains
When: Saturday 28 November
Cost: $10 per student, which covers lunch
Bring: Comfortable hiking clothes and shoes, plenty of water, a hat, sunscreen and anything else you need for a full day outdoors.
