Kindyplans presents our bespoke pop-up playgroup — a sustainable, sensory play experience immersed in nature.

$20 per child, with $15 for each additional child. I’ve intentionally kept the cost lower with the current cost of living in mind. As a small business run by me, a mum of two young children, these sessions still take a lot of preparation, but with a few helping hands and a simpler set-up, I’m working to make them more accessible while keeping the focus on meaningful, open-ended play.

The session is designed for children from 1 to 5 years, with school-aged children welcome during the holidays.

Non-walkers under 1 are very welcome to come along with their older sibling and don’t need their own ticket. Parents and carers will just need to be mindful of small parts and potential choking hazards within the play environment.

This pop-up is also a little taste of what we explore through our once-a-month Art Play sessions. I’m hoping to share some of the magic of art play — the freedom, connection, creativity and joy that can come from giving children space to explore.

As a mum in a very full season of life myself, I know how easy it can be for play to become another thing to organise or feel we need to do “right”. Kindyplans is about creating simple spaces where children can explore, get messy, connect with nature and just be — while grown-ups get to slow down and enjoy it alongside them.
