Have you ever wanted a chance to measure your quantitative and probabilistic thinking skills? Or maybe just curious and wanting to learn more?
UQ Fintech's Probability Night will host an exciting competition where you’ll get to put your problem-solving and quick thinking skills to the test to see which teams come out on top! Alongside this, there will be an educational workshop on the basics of probability, covering topics such as how to estimate effectively and approach questions using Bayes’ theorem.
Expect to see questions spanning topics such as :
- Fermi Estimation
- Conditional Probability
- Combinatorics / Permutations
- and more!
Prizes will be given out to the best performing teams! Stay tuned for more info…
