About
HEIA(Q) invites you to join us in a celebration of World Food Day 2026 with a workshop delivered by the OzHarvest team @ their 157 Abbotsford Rd, Bowen Hills, Brisbane kitchen.
The OzHarvest FEAST program aims to raise awareness of food wastage prevention, encourage positive food habits, build practical skills and create future change makers.
FEAST is free to access, and addresses content from the Food and Fibre Production and Food Specialisations contexts of the Design and Technologies Australian curriculum v9.0.
If you’re thinking about running FEAST but don’t know where to begin, join us on Thursday 15 October – 4:00-7:00pm. If you already deliver FEAST our World Food Day celebration is a great opportunity to get hands on and connect with the OzHarvest team.
Parking: There is limited street parking and no onsite parking. Paid street parking is available Alison and Thompson Street. There is also paid parking available via Secure Parking at the Bowen Hills Medical Centre, a short walk from the kitchen. Allow an extra 20 minutes if you choose to drive.
