DTAA VIC Gathering: Sharing, Exploring and Growing Together

Following feedback from our previous gathering, this session will focus on experiential sharing, offering participants the opportunity to explore different ways of working, discover new ideas and develop their confidence in sharing their own practice.

Participants will have the opportunity to prepare and facilitate a short, 10-minute experiential. This might include:

• Exploring the use of props in movement and dance.
• Introducing a theme inspired by a pioneer in Dance Movement Therapy and their core approach.
• Sharing a movement-based exploration, creative practice or area of interest.

These short offerings provide an opportunity to try something new, share our skills, explore our creativity and learn through experience, while celebrating the diversity of our profession and the knowledge within our community.
