Peter Sullivan Parent Information Session

Honoring the School’s vision to be an exceptional community of learning, we invite Peter Sullivan to St Peter’s College as our first Mathematician in Residence in 2022.

Peter will be working with St Peter’s College teachers during Week 11 (11-14 April). He will also be presenting a Parent Information Session to which you are invited to. His session , ‘Helping your Children Learn Mathematics Well,’ is outlined below.

‘Success at Mathematics augments study and career options.  While some students find learning mathematics easy, many need to apply themselves to experience success. This presentation will explain the types of mathematical thinking that can support students and will offer specific advice for parents who are keen to help.’

We are delighted to host Peter, a highly regarded researcher and practitioner, and look forward to supporting  our parent community in further understanding of how to support mathematical understanding for their children.
