November 2nd, 5-6pm

WHAT: A concert of fragile and evocative soundscapes for flute, guitar and electronics, performed in the stunning acoustic of the Oratory Room at the Abbotsford Convent. This initmate, exclusive performance will feature the world premiere of Lisa Illean's "Sahul", alongside electroacoustic works by Anthony Lyons, Wally Gunn, and Samuel Smith.

This event is proudly supported by Kyron Audio. A local design/sound engineer duo who are producing speakers of outstanding quality. Greg Humphries from the Hi Fi Journal sums up his listening experience "The sound was spectacular, not so much what it did, but what it didn't do. The sound stage and imaging was so vivid, placing the voices and instruments on such a completely black background with seemingly unlimited space and air around. Like nothing I have ever heard before.”

Don't miss this rare opportunity to experience the symbiosis of these acoustic and digital soundworlds in person.

Performed by Laila Engle and Ken Murray, with sound by Anthony Lyons.
