Coherence Therapy - Intro (Melb) Aug
Coherence Therapy is an innovative depth-psychology brief therapy which deliberately utilizes a form of neuroplasticity- memory reconsolidation- in order to create transformative change in clients. It can be used either in conjunction with other transformative approaches to psychotherapy (to provide the hidden purpose of the symptoms), or as a highly effective stand-alone therapy. It provides an effective meta-frame describing the process of change to make your current work even more effective.
This one day workshop will introduce basic concepts and terms, core process steps, and some fundamental microskills of Coherence Therapy. Using a combination of learning styles, participants will have opportunity to familiarise themselves with some of these concepts and skills, and to get a sense of the 'coherence of the symptom'.
Lunch and snacks included, all day street parking close to venue.
