Export Finance and Insurance Forum

In October 2014, the Commonwealth Government introduced an Amendment to enhance the Export Finance and Insurance Corporation’s (EFIC), as Australia’s export credit agency, capacity to support small and medium-sized businesses seeking to capitalize on global trade opportunities.

  • What are the real economic benefits delivered for small- and medium-sized exporters as result of this change in funding policy?
  • How does this initiative increase the opportunities for Australian SMEs to compete effectively across a range of industry sectors in the global markets?
  • How can EFIC effectively support an SME’s export strategy?

A collaborative initiative by the Australia China Business Council – Victoria; Australia Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry Victoria; American Chamber of Commerce in Australia; German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce and Australia Indonesia Business Council will facilitate the discussion and forum to address these questions.
