Super Saturday Seminar - The Cross of Christ

Description

The Cross of Christ

Most Christians understand that the death of Jesus is very important. Why is the death of Jesus so important? It is far from obvious.

John Woodhouse, formerly principal of Moore Theological College will explain why the death of Jesus is in fact more important than we usually think, and more powerful in its effects than we usually realise. The power of Christianity is the power of Jesus’ death. To understand what Jesus Christ is really about, we need to understand his death. We will be thinking about why Jesus death is so important; why in fact he died (remembering that Islam teaches that he didn’t!); how it can be true that he died for me; and how the death of Jesus changes life for one who trusts Jesus..
