About E Agri and their new system:
The E Agri system is a lightweight, modular design for hydroponics that allows highly intensive cropping and efficient energy use in a system that is free of pollutants from soil, water or contaminants in air. Locally, E Agri are working with Australian Fresh Leaf and have partnered with Chisholm Institute to set up hydroponic research and training facilities – one of the most advanced in the world. It is here that E Agri completes research and systems training and full implementation of the E Agri program occurs. Through a combination of owned and operated sites along with a planned franchising arrangement, E Agri intends to use these sites as commercial facilities to develop in the Chinese market, setting up in provinces across China.

E Agri’s innovative farming model gives growers to ability to:
  • stabilise 365 day production
  • reduce wastage of crop
  • increase quality control
  • reduce packaging costs
  • reduce buy-in of stock during winter periods
  • maintain a flexible multi-layer system to simultaneously grow 50+ varieties of produce
  • trace the path of growth, from seed to consumer; reduce food miles
  • analyse crop data to make informed decisions
  • reduce labour input and costs
  • can be retrofitted into existing glasshouses
