Listen to Views of Aboriginal Children

Listening to the views of Aboriginal children and young people

“Listen To Us” is a landmark report based on a consultation with 1,271 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people across the State, possibly the largest consultation of its type undertaken in WA.

Tabled in the WA Parliament in August 2015 by the Commissioner for Children and Young People WA, “Listen To Us” represents a rare opportunity for agencies to take inspiration from the views of Aboriginal children and young people about matters important to their wellbeing.

DATE: Wednesday 11 November 2015

TIME: 10am to 11.30am

VENUE: Wardle Room, Perth Concert Hall, 5 St Georges Terrace, Perth

CONTACT DETAILS: Darren Gillespie 6213 2208

The seminar will provide a rich source of information about both the consultation project and the content of the report, and will be of great value to government and non-government agencies in their work to deliver effective, culturally secure programs and services.
