'Ride On Stonnington' 20k Easy Bike Ride


An easy 20km guided charity ride for recreational riders of all ages, around the perimeter of Stonnington. The course has been made easy to encourage infrequent cyclists to get out and enjoy the bike lanes and bike trails in the Stonnington area.  But we also want experienced riders to join in to help support men's health projects.  No Lycra required! It is open to all, adults and families with children. 

Start: Malvern Town Hall Oval.  Finish: with a coffee in Glenferrie Road, Malvern!

Organised by The Men of Malvern Inc* , sponsored by the Cabrini Foundation, the Glenferrie Road Malvern Business Association and MecwaCare; and  Proudly supported by the City of Stonnington.

After leaving the Town Hall, the ride heads south on Glenferrie Road, turns left into Wattletree Road, and then crosses Malvern Road to pick-up the Gardiners Creek and Yarra Bike Trails heading towards the City.  The ride crosses the Yarra on the Morell Bridge and heads eastwards along the bike path to Chapel Street.  It turns down Chapel Street to High Street to return to the Town Hall.  Riders may disperse in Glenferrie Road, to enjoy a well-earned coffee!

Cycling Victoria Code of Conduct

Terms and Conditions

Persons entering the ‘Ride On’ Stonnington Easy 20 km Recreational Bike Ride must agree to the following: I understand that cycling is a potentially hazardous activity. I attest that I am physically fit prior to undertaking the event. During this event I agree to abide by the directions of authorised staff and volunteers and cycle with care and consideration of others on the course. I acknowledge that I have read and understood the Code of Conduct.

In consideration of The Men of Malvern Inc (“MoM”) permitting me to enter and participate in the Easy 20 km Recreational Bike Ride on Sunday 17th April 2015 and as a condition of such entry, I release Men of MoM, ABN 26 171 167 219, its servants and agents from all claims for injury, loss or damage of whatever kind I might suffer as a result of any acts or omissions whether negligent or otherwise of MoM, its servants or agents in relation to the event.  I confirm that I accept responsibility for and will supervise any minors that have entered the event with me.  (If you are under 16 you must be accompanied by and supervised by an adult).

I hereby give MoM and those acting with MoM permission, the irrevocable right to use/or copyright images of me, in all forms and media and in all manners including alterations and composite representations, to promote the event without restriction and without compensation to the participant. 

Day membership of Cycling Victoria

Public liability insurance for this event has been arranged through Cycling Victoria (CV) and Cycling Australia (CA). Each participant is required to apply for a day membership of CV in order for the insurance to apply.  Please confirm this in the appropriate box on the page below.
