Having just moved to Los Angeles with husband Jacques Demy, director Agnes Varda spent much of 1968 travelling to Oakland, filming Black Panther meetings and demonstrations with a borrowed 16mm camera.
In Rachel Perkins’ documentary, Marlene Cummins breaks a forty-year silence to tell the story of her abuse in the Australian Black protest movement.
