High School Fair Trade Conference

In this engaging and inspiring conference students will be able to learn about the values and communities which benefit from fair trade with theoretical and practical discussions and workshops. This session will enable students to learn about the principles at the heart of Fair Trade. They will hear stories from communities engaged at the grass-root movement, learn how to support Fair Trade as an ethical consumer and gain insight into the every day of fair trade from the perspective of fair trade businesses. This event will include workshops with Oxfam and Young Workers Centre that will discuss advocacy in multiple contexts and encourage student engagement.
