Collaborative Leadership and action for community wellbeing

Symposium invitation...
Come join us to celebrate and share the successes generated by metropolitan health regions across Melbourne to improve community wellbeing by enhancing local liveability.

Our Victorian collaborative policy research is not only informing - and informed by - local practice but also is contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Agenda.

This Symposium will showcase best practice examples of innovative local governance and practice, informed by the latest research.

The event will help to build shared understanding of prevention, population health, and how to generate collective action on the social determinants of health and wellbeing.

Keynote Address: The evolution of urban liveability: from local to global presented by Professor Billie Giles-Corti, Director of the McCaughey VicHealth Community Wellbeing Unit, University of Melbourne and Lead Investigator of the NHMRC Centre for Research Excellence in Healthy Liveable Communities.

Looking back to go forward presented by Dr Helen Jordan, Researcher University of Melbourne, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health.

Program now available.... Don't miss out register now.
