Rossini Petite Messe Solennelle

Description

The Adelaide Philharmonia Chorus presents Rossini's magnificent Petite Messe Solennelle on Saturday 26 November at 7.30pm. This "operatic" mass is a surprised package offering dramatic and lyrical sounds for chorus and four soloists. The choir will be joined by soloists Rosalind Martin, Guila Tiver, Branko Lovrinov and Keith Hempton and will be accompanied by two pianos and harmonium.


Due to the test cricket match at Adelaide Oval we recommend our audience uses public transport to get to St Peter's Cathedral. Bus numbers G10, 222, 224 and 228 stop at the Cathedral (Stop 2) and can be picked up at stop X1 on King William Street in the city. For timetables please got to adelaidemetro.com.au


The concert will run for one and a half hours with no interval and two-hour parking may be available on the streets around the Cathedral. The concert has general admission and particular seats are not bookable unless you have special needs. There is disability access.
