Catheterisation Workshop (Full Day)
Due to the unprecedented situation with COVID-19 Pandemic and recent Government Health advice discussions are currently in progress regarding conducting these Workshops during this unprecedented time. We will update you appropriately in the coming days. Please enter your name on the WAIT LIST if you are interested in these updates.

This six (6) hour program will provide Registered & Enrolled Nurses working within their scope of practice, with theory and the psychomotor skills required to competently insert suprapubic (SPC) and male/female indwelling urethral catheters (IDC). Our program attracts 6 CPD hours. Competency testing & protocol guidelines are provided to participants. Workshop handbook, trade display, products, lunch and refreshements are also supplied. Competency in Aspeptic technique is a prerequisite to participation in this Workshop.*Note: In the absence of workplace guidelines we recommend as part of this competency that participants have at least two supervised changes with an experienced clinician. VCRC uphold ANZUNS guidelines. Please refer to their guidelines here.
