This six (6) hour program will provide Registered & Enrolled Nurses working within their scope of practice, with theory and the psychomotor skills required to competently insert suprapubic (SPC) and male/female indwelling urethral catheters (IDC). Our program attracts 6 CPD hours. Competency testing & protocol guidelines are provided to participants. Workshop handbook, trade display, products, lunch and refreshements are also supplied. Competency in Aspeptic technique is a prerequisite to participation in this Workshop.*Note: In the absence of workplace guidelines we recommend as part of this competency that participants have at least two supervised changes with an experienced clinician.
