Australian Reptile Park - Aussie Bush Wildlife Sleep Out


Wake up on Australia Day surrounded by nature and wildlife at the Australian Reptile Park’s Aussie Bush Wildlife Sleep Out, supported by Australian Geographic on the evening of Wednesday, 25 January, 2017.

Guests will experience the thrill of sleeping out under the stars amongst wildlife, plus an evening of interactive and hands on wildlife awareness shows, animal encounters, an Aussie bush tucker BBQ, billy tea, marshmallow toasting over camp fires, damper making and bush survival education.

In a true and traditional Aussie bush set up, tents and air mattresses are provided for guest to keep and take home with them after the event.  Guests only needing to bring pillows, sleeping bags and any other personal belongings they desire for the bush.  

The Aussie Bush Wildlife Sleep Out is family friendly event commencing at 6pm on Wednesday 25 January. Shared bedding options are available for families, also included in the costs are park entry, overnight parking, wildlife shows, dinner and breakfast.

  1. payments are $500 per tent with a minimum of two and maximum of four adults per tent. 
  2. participants get to keep their tent and mattresses at the end of the event
  3. all children must be at least 4 years of age to participate.  Families with 3 children under the age of 10 years may share existing bedding in one tent.  More than 3 children requires the purchase of an additional tent as the tents are set up to only sleep 4.
  4. all payments are non refundable
  5. recommendations on what to pack: pillows, sleeping bag, picnic blanket, camping chairs, toiletries, towel, torch, closed-toed shoes, insect repellent and necessary medications
  6. children must be accompanied by a supervising parent with no more than 3 children attending per supervising adult.
  7. toilet facilities are on grounds, but no showers or power points
  8. additional food is permitted to be brought onto the premises by participants
  9. no alcohol may be brought onto the premises by guests
  10. spaces are limited to 200 people maximum
  11. in the event of wet weather the event will see a date change to Sat 27 Jan and all participants will be notified on the day
