Event Details :

Using the recent trends, technology and innovations, this event will discuss how prefabricated and modular designs develop highly financially, socially and environmentally sustainable products.

In pursuit of developing these quality builds, each speaker will address a slightly different scale and area of the market where modular and prefab buildings work and push the boundaries of high quality design.
We will also have a focus on what the future holds and we will address recent developments and highlight technical aspects coming out of prefabricated/modular housing that can be applied to other designs to improve sustainability and the quality of the build.

You will:

  • Gain an industry perspective and a taste of what the future may hold for prefab and modular design,
  • Delve into high rise prefab buildings such as LaTrobe Street and focus on the key wins for all involved
  • Unpack the residential market focussing on the huge impact modular and prefab designs could have, (and will have) on architectural outcomes in this area.
