GANEAA Eco Dyeing Workshop at Winton Wetlands
Eco dyeing - what is it?
Eco dyeing is extracting colours from natural materials. In this GANEAA member only workshop with Maggie Hollins you will collect wind fallen leaves, learn the basics of eco dyeing and create eco printed paper that can be incorporated into your art works. The venue will be at the beautiful Winton Wetlands. During the afternoon The Friends of Winton Wetlands will give a brief talk on the wetlands.
Lunch can be purchased at The Hub Cafe if required.
There are 2 types of ticket:
First one is for the workshop and the cost is $50. Arrive at 9.30am for a 10am start until 4pm.
The second one is to attend the afternoon opening of the bundles and the cost is $10. Arrive 12.30 for lunch then create your work in the surrounds of the Wetlands then at 3.30 view the unbundling.
There is also a $0.30 Trybooking surcharge added to your booking cost.
A material list will be sent out after you have booked your place in the workshop. You will be asked to prepare your paper before the workshop. Some materials will be supplied.
This workshop is conducted with the support of The Friends of Winton Wetlands who will give a short talk about the Wetlands in the afternoon.
