This newly visioned program is presented by the specialists of The Alfred's General Respiratory & Sleep Services team, and is designed for health professionals (including previous NIV attendees) wanting to gain current knowledge and practical skills in NIV management from intensive Care to Community Carer.

  • Normal sleep - how & why
  • Comorbid sleep issues - COPD, CHF, Depression
  • Fatigue & safety
  • Obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) management
  • CPAP adherence
  • How we monitor sleep - CPAP, oximetry, LCM
  • Case study & panel discussion
