Mother's Day Breakfast
GUEST SPEAKER: Rosie Martin - Tasmanian Australian of the Year 2017
Please join us to celebrate Mother's Day at the annual Prefects Mother and Son Breakfast - grandmothers, aunties, friends and mentors are all welcome to attend. Ticket sales will go towards supporting Chatter Matters Tasmania and there will also be a raffle for the Prefects charity held on the day.
WHEN: Friday 12 May
WHERE: Burbury House Dining Room (Hutchins Boarding House)
TIME: 7.00 am to 8.30am (please note a strict start time of 7.00am)
TICKETS: $25 per person including a full hot breakfast, tea, coffee and juices. Please Note: you must purchase a ticket for your son if he is attending (mother's of Prefects wont need to book for them though as they will be running the event)
GUEST SPEAKER: Rosie Martin - Tasmanian Australian of the Year for 2017
Rosie is the founding speech pathologist of Chatter Matters Tasmania, a charity building awareness and skills in human communication. Through Chatter Matters, Rosie has been volunteering to deliver Just Sentences, a pilot project that is achieving astounding results working to rehabilitate people at Risdon Prison. Rosie also runs her own private practice specialising in services for children with autism spectrum disorder. With patience and persistence, Rosie is helping others to open new doors and explore new worlds and is a deserving winner of the Tasmanian Australian of the Year award for 2017.
