Join artist and social entrepreneur Debby Maziarz as she shares her personal story of starting a circus using what she had in her pocket and tips on sustaining an arts practice from knowing what hourly rate to charge to bartering with her dentist.

Debby Maziarz is the director of Debby Maziarz Productions, an incubator specialising in arts entrepreneurship. Debby founded Melbourne’s leading youth circus Westside Circus and is passionate about using the arts to make positive social change. Debby is currently undertaking an Australia Council for the Arts Fellowship exploring bartering as both art form and arts practice.
