The Coodabeen Champions are taking their show on the road - to regional Victoria and beyond, through July and August this year.
Following their successful 35th Anniversary tour of 2015, the Coodabeens are heading far and wide to bring their unique mix of fun and footy to the people that matter most - their loyal fans.
Each September the Coodabeens fill the Playhouse at the Arts Centre Melboourne with the faithful, who come to get their dose of Coodabeens-style mirth.
Now in the Coodabeens' 37th year on radio, that format - laughs, banter, audience interaction, singalong, and talkback calls - is coming back to regional Victoria and Albury.
Resident songsmith, Greg Champion says the 2015 tour showed the team that there is a real thirst for live Coodabeens shows in the bush.
"We covered the south-west and south-east, we all agreed we wanted to continue the fun, and now we're heading out to the key places that have shown a love for footy and a love of the Coodabeens".
"I know the boys are bursting to hit the road and share the enjoyment of the game with the fans."
You've told the Coodabeen Champions that they've been part of your lives for so long, now the Coodabeens are coming to share the fun with you in concert.
And they're sure to leave you with the same big smiles on your faces that they've provided since they started on radio back in 1981.
