Developing Future Workforce Skills

On Wednesday 26th July at 5:30pm you are invited to join Rotary Club of Sydney members, friends and guests for a special evening of Vocational Service and Networking hosted by INCUBATE – the award winning startup accelerator and entrepreneur program founded by the University of Sydney Union.

The guest speaker will be Jan Owen AM, CEO of Foundation for Young Australians.  Jan will be sharing the Foundation's latest research into the skills of the future workforce, and how young people of today can develop the skills, talent and attitude for future work and career success.

With the world of work changing and many of the jobs of the future have not even been invented today, how can young people ensure they are ready for future careers that do not yet exist?  How can employers ensure they are recruiting, promoting and developing the future workers and leaders for jobs in industry, and the community?  For many of us, young or experienced, the days of 9-5 work to live are evolving to new ways of working, collaborating and creating.

In this interactive session, Jan will be joined by James Alexander, Co-founder and Program Manager of Incubate, as well as a special guest speaker from the “for purpose” sector, for a Q&A about future work opportunities, creating through entrepreneurship, and working for purpose .

This event is sponsored by LemSec – a family owned boutique investment advisory firm specialising in all areas of private wealth advisory, institutional services, equity capital markets, corporate advisory, broking and research.
