Responding to the Anthropocene

What does it mean to be human and responsible toward a deep future? Part of a wider project that addresses intersections of ecology, religion, war and peace, this seminar considers the concept of the ‘Anthropocene Epoch’ as a challenge to religion and ethics. Professor David G. Horrell from the University of Exeter will be among presenters who will speak to questions such as raised in Clive Hamilton’s Defiant Earth (Allen & Unwin, 2017).
