"The Second Dart"
Difficulty and stress are inevitable parts of life. How we respond to these experiences determines how much we suffer in relation to these difficulties. The Buddha’s teaching of "The Dart” explains that we add unnecessary layers to our suffering by how we react in thoughts, emotions and actions.   
This workshop will look at what tools the Buddha offered in dealing with difficulty without creating more stress for ourselves. It will introduce the concept of vedana or feeling - how we “taste” life - and how this guides our responses and stress levels. We will consider how our bare experience can be the path through the challenges towards joy.
