This is a great community event and a fantastic way to prepare for AFL finals week!

2017 Panel

Brendon Goddard - Brendon Goddard has established himself as an elite player of the competition across his 15 year AFL career, debuting in 2003 with St Kilda and moving over to Essendon in 2015. Able to play a variety of positions, Goddard is an Essendon best and fairest winner. He’s also been named in the All-Australian side twice throughout his career. In 2016, Goddard was thrust into the Essendon Captaincy on the eve of the season. His fourth placing in the Crichton Medal recognised his consistent year. He ranked in the top five at the Club for disposals, metres gained, contested possessions, intercept possessions, marks, tackles and score involvements.  Goddard is a member of the Leadership group in 2017.
Brian Lake - A true champion of the game, Brian Lake famously joined the Hawthorn Football Club before going on to win a premiership in each of his only three seasons with the Hawks. Capping off a remarkable career by winning the Norm Smith Medal in the 2013 Grand Final to go along with his dual All-Australian selection, since retiring Brian has developed a promising media career in tv and radio and is currently a commentator with Fox Footy.
