Event Details
At this ArchiTECH event, Jetmaster Heat & Glo will provide technical background and specification information related to fireplace selection and installation including: building and gas code requirements, configuring flue runs, appropriate cladding selection and current trends in fireplace design and installation.  

The event will start at 11.30am and run until 12.30pm. There will be an optional 30 minute networking opportunity for those who can stick around after the event.

Learning Outcomes

  • Describe the benefits and limitations of gas, wood, combustion and electric fireplaces.
  • Understand the importance and appropriateness of the fireplace type and placement of the fireplace and flue system.
  • Identify suitable materials and key rules/requirements relating to hearths, vents and surrounds of fireplaces.
  • Select an appropriate flue system by understanding how various flue systems operate and identifying related compliance requirements.
     


This seminar provides one formal CPD point per hour on completion of set assessment
