Human Rights Day 2017

A message of hope

Human Rights Watch observes Human Rights Day each year, sending a message of hope by lighting in blue the Empire State Building in New York and the CN Tower in Toronto. This year Australia will join this global observation for the first time by lighting the Sydney Opera House blue.

Join us on Sunday, December 10 at the Museum of Contemporary Art for a reception with striking views over the harbour, as we recognise the importance of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and our commitment to protect and defend human rights worldwide.

Sunday, December 10, 2017 | 7pm - 10pm

Museum of Contemporary Art, Harbourside Room

Level 6, 140 George Street, The Rocks, Sydney
