For the Birds: Recreate habitat and garden sculpture
hero

Bird homes never looked so good! Using a range of recycled materials & cold connect sculpture techniques, you will create a wondrous home for our native birds that will also do double duty in your garden as a unique sculptural piece. You will learn a range of tool use & cold-connect techniques including pop-rivets, drilling, driving & wire twitching to create a fabulous native bird nest box. You will be encouraged to explore your creativity with design, shapes & will have access to a diverse range of recycled materials from the recreate store. You will also receive a take home info pack on considerations regarding nest box design & entry hole sizing to suit different native bird species (and bats and possums!).
