Goodbye to Berlin
1930’s Berlin. Cabarets and clubs are all closed down but Sally Bowles is still hanging on to the old Berlin. In a desperate attempt to gather some money so she can make her way to Paris, Sally throws an underground Cabaret of Cabaret.
This one woman show, of many characters, will change the story of Cabaret forever.
“You will be guided through a flirtatious arc of hope, despair and sexual energy. A replete blend of humour and pathos.” Brian Littlechild
Priscilla Armstrong graduated from Ballarat Arts Academy in 2004. Her passion is in story telling, both the real and the unreal, in bold style. A lover of Cabaret, as a way to engage and take the audience with her through the story. Her most recent performance is described as a “highly-charged musical play, her Sally is garbed in the black garters and bowler hat and cane reminiscent of the pre-Nazi era. And she sings with the gusto and acts with the poignancy and vulgarity this Cabaret genre demands.
