HEIAQ invites members to a full day of food workshops specifically designed to align with the new Food and Nutrition syllabus. The workshops aim to encourage innovative ways of implementing and supporting the delivery of unit objectives. The workshops will build on existing knowledge of food science, food technology and nutrition and participants will apply these concepts in a practical setting using a variety of experimental techniques to demonstrate the chemical and functional properties of food. The workshops also provide opportunities to network with other colleagues.

HEIA member only day
Venue: St Thomas More College, Troughton Rd & Turton St, Sunnybank

Cost: HEIA member $80 (Morning tea and lunch provided)
