Want to learn Auslan?
Auslan, or Australian Sign Language, is the language used by Australia's Deaf Community. WA Deaf Society runs Basic and Intermediate Auslan Courses year round, offering the opportunity to learn about Deaf Culture, along with an introduction to this beautiful language.

Our Intermediate Auslan Course covers the following:

  • Sentence structure
  • Pronouns & adjectives
  • Quantifiers (all, most, many etc)
  • Asking for and giving directions
  • Describing others
  • Attributing qualities to others
  • Talking about family
  • Talking about routines
  • Workplaces & occupations
  • Rooms and objects to do with the home & everyday living
  • Making complaints, suggestions and requests
  • Other vocabulary and conversation skills

At the end of the course, participants will receive a certificate of completion.

When:

Saturday 9 December from 9am - 5pm
Sunday 10 December from 9am - 5pm
